Guardian Angels

I don't have any pictures to share of my spirit guides, but I'd like to introduce you to my Qingdao guardian angels.

You've met my business guardian angel already.  He's the China part of the equation that has brought me here.  He encouraged me to come when I first met him several years ago, and in my eyes his hospitality is legendary.

This is my legal guardian angel.  Without her, I'd be in big trouble.  We're still struggling to gather all the required documentation and make all the proper filings for my company's Representative Office to legally exist, but she'll make sure we get it done correctly.

And this is my private tutor Chinese language guardian angel.  Without a doubt, she's the one who's facing the greatest challenge.  Although old age is respected here, having a 60-year-old brain is no advantage when it comes to learning a new language.  We spend five hours a week together, and that is often the highpoint of my day.

Whenever I get the pronunciation and tone correct, she's the one who's beaten it into me.
