Here are 74 pictures of bicycles.  These have been culled from an estimated 500 attempts to take interesting pictures.  Some were deleted because they were taken through dirty bus windows.  Others were taken when the bus/car was moving too fast for auto-focusing to handle, and sometimes I just flat out missed the target. I listen to WVXU over the internet, which is Cincinnati's station for National Public Radio.  The other day they mentioned that there are something like 430,000,000 bicycles here, although many are now sitting idle because they've been replaced by mopeds or automobiles. In any event, here's a cross-section of the bicycles I've seen here in Qingdao as well as down south in the Greater Shanghai metropolitan area and beyond.  I've made no attempt to organize these pictures.  I expect they are being presented in something approaching chronological order. I've decided to upload realtively large pictures, so you can see details.  Here we go:
