I gladly accepted a co-worker's invitation to join her, her daughter, and a friend for an outing at the botanical garden to see the chrysanthemums, even though she warned me that the flowers would be past their prime.

I'm looking forward to returning in the Spring when this walk is lined with cherry blossoms.
