	This picture was taken in the long block between my apartment and my bank.  They really excavate deep holes to get to bedrock for the tall buildings.  If you look closely at the walls, you'll notice how they're reinforced and then covered with concrete to control the dirt. The white modular building right on the edge of the hole is housing for the migrant construction workers.  I expect that this housing will eventually stretch the whole top of that wall by the time they're ready to start construction. I've been taking pictures from my apartment window ever since I arrived here of a building that is going up right next door to me, so, at some time in the future, we'll talk a lot more about construction.
