Here we are lighting incense.

And here I am performing the obligatory three bows with three sticks of incense in hand.

Don't worry, Mom and sister Mary Ann.  If anything, I'm a blasphemous, pseudo-Buddhist.  The statue of Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy, that I'm keeping in my apartment for a friend, has an offering of a bag of potato chips and a bag of microwave popcorn rather than fruit or flowers.
