| There's a benefit to not understanding Chinese, because I'm not aware of anyone having accused me of a foot fetish as I've gone about the country taking pictures of feet in buses, at airports, and on the street. I was wondering how I'd collect enough good shots until my co-workers Gracie and Daisy helped me to buy some silk samples for our daughter Laura one day and the outing happened to include stopping at a shoe store to get new boots for Daisy.
