Qingdao To Weifang GO TO PAGE 2 OF 23 BACK TO DATE PAGE
Fish and I took the high-speed train to Jinan the other day with stops enroute at Weifang and Zibo.  These pictures were taken during the first hour of that three-hour trip.  I trashed two-thirds of the pictures, but there are still almost seventy pictures left to share.  They are in strict chronological order, and I edited them only vertically and not horizontally, so you're along for the ride.
A-L-L    A-BO-ARD!
Those three Chinese characters are the name of our train: "HARMONY".

I screwed up and didn't take any pictures inside, but the train was similar to an airplane except with more legroom, less noise, and no bumps.

They told us our speed every now and then, and the top speed I remember was a little over 140 miles per hour.

So please forgive a little blurriness of focus and the occasional window reflection.
