I let this proud Grandma think that I wanted a picture of her cute granddaughter, but what I was really after were her sleeve protectors.  It has been explained to me that sleeve protectors are a practical way to keep outerwear clean in a land where people air-dry their clothes after washing them.  It would take much too long to air-dry a jacket frequently.  We'll talk more about air-drying another time.
