		Now for three-squeak mice.  This is a second-hand report, although I don't think it's apocryphal. Amanda my Chinese tutor had once told me with a shudder that some Chinese eat baby mice.  And she'd left it at that. Gracie my co-worker told me the rest of the story about this southern Chinese delicacy. You start with a bowl of live baby mice--you know, no fur or anything yet, just nice and pink with eyes still closed. Squeak #1: Pick the baby mouse up with your chopsticks. Squeak #2: Dip it into the special sauce. Squeak #3: Chew and swallow.
